As if you don't have enough to think about when you're shopping for wedding rings. Two things you definitely should decide before you engrave a ring are what method you want to use for the engraving and what you want to say. Rings can be engraved by hand or by machine, and while the methods are very different both techniques offer excellent results. But there are some standard things you should do before you engrave, like making sure the ring is sized correctly. And I'm sure you'll want to get the answers to several important questions before you feel comfortable handing the ring to the jeweler.

Marc Jacobs, Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton, helped close out Paris Fashion Week with a fashion show on Sunday, where models carrying colorful bags on arms stacked with lush bangles were a catwalk highlight. Bold tassels, many made from feathers, were used on most bags as either zipper pulls or at the ends of bead-strung chunky cords. Bangle materials varied (wood, resin, metal, glass) but they all worked with the bags and most were either multicolored (earthtones to bright) or highly textured.

Sofia Coppola was seated in the front row. Rumor is that she'll design a line of bags for Louis Vuitton. She and dad Francis Ford Coppola are part of Vuitton's most recent advertising campaign, where they're shown in pics shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz. Sophia and Marc Jacobs are long-time friends.

Kristin Chenoweth isn't the only celebrity spotted wearing a cross pendant lately. Most people don't regard the pendants as something that's in or out of style -- they're usually an important accessory that's worn throughout the years.

There's no shortage of cross variations -- you'll find crosses made from all sorts of metals and other substances and they're often set with diamonds and precious gems. It doesn't matter where jewelry trends go, because hoop earrings are classic, always in style. And because they're timeless, you'll find hoops in every configuration imaginable. You can pay a lot for hoop earrings, especially if you want solid gold hoops or earrings set with diamonds and other gemstones, but inexpensive versions in sterling and gold plate are just as attractive, and Swarovski crystals and cubic zirconias give plenty of flash when that's the look you want.
