Books to Help You Buy & Collect Jewelry

There are lots of excellent books to help you buy and collect new or vintage jewelry. One of my favorites is Warman's Jewelry Identification and Price Guide, because it's packed with photos and details to help identify vintage pieces. A few others you might want to look at are by Rene Newman. Her Diamond Ring Buying Guide helps you understand and evaluate the diamond ring market, and Gemstone Buying Guide covers topics about colored gems. All three books are excellent references to carry with you when you shop.
