How to Change the Color of Gold

Have you ever been confused by the terms white gold, green gold, pink and rose gold? All real gold is yellow, isn't it, so how do other colors fit in — are they imitations? The short answer is no, they aren't imitations at at all, they are alloys — new metals that are created by combining two or more different metals. Pure gold doesn't usually cause allergic reactions, but it's good to know what else is in your gold mix, especially if you're sensitive to some metals.
