Earrings Rule the Tony Awards

Earrings were the jewelry stars at last night's Tony Awards, not unusual since they work so well with gowns of all types. Styles varied, from the massive diamond and citrine chandeliers worn by Gina Gershon to delicate diamond drops on Piper Perabo's ears. Stockard Channing and Laura Benati each wore dramatic necklaces, one piece in rubies and the other a combination of intricate metalwork.
