High Lead Levels Prompt Daiso to Recall Children's Coin Purse and Jewelry

Daiso has joined the growing list of companies whose products are being recalled due to their high lead content. Recalled coin purses have rainbow stripes, and the words The Coin Purse and Mobile Case Coin Purse are printed on labels. Children's earrings and necklaces are made from blue, pink, red, white and yellow beads, with labels that begin with the words Colorful Drop. Products were sold at Daiso stores in California and Washington from May 2009 to December 2009.
