Exceptional Jewelry on the Auction Block

This vintage Cartier panther bracelet was owned by Wallis Simpson, who married King Edward VIII after he abdicated the British throne in order to make her his wife. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor (the pair's post-abdication titles) amassed a huge collection of jewelry during their lives. The panther bracelet is one of several pieces of the Duchess's jewelry that will be auctioned this fall at Sotheby's in London.
