Katy Perry and Russell Brand File for Divorce

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have filed for divorce, claiming irreconcilable differences. Brand gave Perry this diamond engagement ring when he proposed, on New Year's Eve, 2009. A few weeks ago, Brand was still telling the press that the marriage was fine, and that the couple planned to be together forever. I suppose two years is pretty good for a celebrity relationship -- they lasted longer than Kardashian and Humphries.
