Carly's love of jewelry began when she was very young, when relatives began her jewelry collection by presenting her with a mixture of vintage and contemporary pieces on birthdays and other special occasions.
Carly has taken numerous jewelry making classes and workshops, and courses in enameling are among her favorites. She enjoys creating beaded jewelry. Carly's education in jewelry and its design is ongoing, and in recent years she's focused on precious metals and gems. Carly has a special interest in vintage jewelry and fashions.
Carly received a Bachelor of Science in Interiors and Fashion Merchandising with a Minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. She is currently a Museology graduate student at the University of Washington. Carly also studied fashion design at Ohio's Kent State University.
