Guide Review - "Passing the Flame" by Corina Tettinger

I can't begin to tell you how much you'll learn from this book. The text is very detailed, but written in an easy-going style that's almost like having Corina in your studio, talking to you one-on-one. Close-up photos of every important process reinforce the text, with plenty of extras of the author's finished beads to serve as inspiration. Learn the what-ifs: how glass behaves when used in certain ways, and how the entire design can be changed with just a few variations. No more wonky beads, because now you'll understand why they happen. Nothing I can say in this short space conveys the help and inspiration you'll find in this book. Corina truly is Passing the Flame, and doesn't hold back anything she feels will help you learn the craft.
