Born in Kentucky in 1990, Jennifer Lawrence has already made an impression on Hollywood and her fans. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 2010's Winter's Bone, the second youngest person to be nominated for that award. Jennifer received numerous other awards and nominations for her work in the film. She's also known for her roles in The Burning Plain, X-Men: First Class, and The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games caught my attention even before I realized that parts of the film were filmed in a forest located near my parents' home in Transylvania County, North Carolina. Packed with waterfalls and rushing waters, the Dupont State Forest was the perfect setting for portions of the film.
