72-Carat Pear-Shaped Diamond

This pear-shaped 72+ carat diamond was expected to bring up to $13-million when it was auctioned by Sotheby's in April, 2008. It was pulled from the auction when bids didn't meet the diamond's reserve. It's reported that Sotheby's has a private buyer for the rare, D color grade diamond.
