Tennis star Maria Sharapova is a spokesperson for Canon cameras. She was in New York City on August 20, 2008 to introduce the limited edition PowerShot Diamond Collection. It's not a collection in the way we think of that description -- you're not going to find them for sale in stores. It's five diamond-studded digital cameras that will be given away in a sweepstakes. Each of the $10,000 cameras has 88 white diamonds (2.22 carats) encircling its lens.
Nice cameras, and the long drop earrings (onyx?) and diamond bracelet Maria wore to the event weren't bad, either.
