Acting as an ambassador for Avon, Reese Witherspoon introduced the company's first global charity project, the Women's Empowerment Bracelet. Avon will match the first $500,000 from the sale of bracelets to donate $1 million to UNIFEM, the United Nations Development Fund for Women, which supports projects that empower women worldwide.
The bracelets have a silvertone infinity symbol that's held at the ends of a stretchy blue cord. Each bracelet costs $3, and $2.25 of that amount is donated to the fund.
