Oversize earrings were one of the most prominent jewelry trends at the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards, with large cocktail rings and bib necklaces running a close second and third. Platinum appeared to be the favorite metal at the Emmys, but some celebrities chose yellow gold pieces, like Jayma Mays and Jenna Ushkowitz, who both wore outstanding jewelry by Neil Lane. Julia Ormond's cuff bracelet, gold with a bird-on-a-wire made of diamonds, was a favorite.
