In 2009, several celebrities were challenged to design jewelry to benefit the Stars for a Cause fundraiser. They brainstormed ideas with jewelry designer Robyn Rhodes, who made their visions a reality. Most pieces were made with colored gemstones and pearls set in either sterling silver or 14K gold-filled components.
Jewelry and other items were on display in New York City and London, England. The auction took place in Los Angeles in May, 2009. Proceeds were split, and benefited the Prince's Trust and a charity of each star's choice.
