Although white diamonds and platinum dominated the jewelry at the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards, several celebrities opted to wear black diamonds to the event. Pastel gemstones were popular this year, too, and so were colored gems in more vivid colors.
Stacks of bracelets (and very wide bracelet designs) remain trendy at red carpet events, along with drop and chandelier earrings, but diamond cluster earrings (often in a floral-ike array) are showing up more and more on celebrity earlobes.
Neil Lane Jewelry at the Emmy Awards

Celebrities wearing Neil Lane jewelry at the Primetime Emmy Awards included Nina Dobrev, who wore a choker made from darkened gold and set with 50 carats of diamonds.
Jayma Mays wore a Neil Lane 10 carat diamond and platinum bow brooch in her hair, along with floral diamond and platinum earrings and a 5 carat blush colored diamond and platinum ring.
Colbie Smulders chose diamond and platinum icicle earrings and bracelet, but added a splash of vivid color with an aquamarine and platinum cocktail ring in the same hue as her gown.
Gwyneth Paltrow's cuff bracelet held 50 carats of black diamonds, and another bracelet was set with the same weight of white diamonds. Gwyneth also wore a diamond, black onyx and platinum cocktail ring and white and black diamond drop earrings. Write a check for $550,000 if you want to replicate her Emmy Awards look.
Julie Bowen's black and white diamond and platinum earrings worked nicely with her diamond, onyx and platinum bracelet and black and white diamond and platinum rings.
Chopard Jewelry at the Emmy Awards

Chopard designs on the Emmy Awards red carpet were fashioned from diamonds and platinum.
- Amber Riley wore 6 carat diamond earrings and a 13 carat diamond ring. Amber also wore jewelry by DeBeers.
- Mireille Enos stacked several bracelets on her wrists -- 97 carats total), along with a 14 carat rose cut diamond ring.
- Ellie Kemper wore 8 carat diamond stud earrings.
- Giuliana Rancic's earrings held 22 carats of diamonds, and 43 carats sparked in her bracelets.
Fred Leighton Jewelry at the Emmy Awards

- Gretchen Mol chose Fred Leighton platinum earrings set with jade, onyx and diamonds, and vintage platinum bracelets set with diamonds, jade and black enamel. She also wore a 12.9 carat diamond and platinum ring.
- Taraji P. Henson looked stunning in Art Deco platinum and diamond earrings, and a domed ring set with rock crystal and diamonds.
Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry at the Emmy Awards

I don't have specific details about most of the Lorraine Schwartz jewelry at the Primetime Emmy Awards, but numerous celebs wore the designer's platinum styles, including Emily Blunt, Heidi Klum, Lea Michelle, Jane Lynch, Kerry Washington, Jane Krakowski, Elisabeth Moss, Kelly MacDonald, Sarah Hyland, Aubrey Plaza, Anna Torv, Tina Fey, Paza De La Huerta and Kelli Garner.

- Naya Rivera's platinum and diamond earrings and ring were by Tiffany & Co.
- Glele's Amber Riley wore diamond earrings and a diamond ring from De Beers Diamond Jewellers.
- Cat Deely's platinum and diamond earrings (14 carats), platinum and diamond bracelets (37 carats in all), and platinum and yellow diamond ring (20 carats) were by Bvlgari.
- Kaley Cuoco wore platinum and diamonds -- stud earrings and a bracelet by Kwiat.
- Maria Bello's platinum and diamond stud earrings and ring were by Martin Katz.
- Angela Kinsey's diamond and South Sea pearl earrings were by Farah Khan.
- Shaun Robinson also wore Farah Khan designs, black and white diamond earrings with blue topaz and a diamong ring with blue topaz.
