Layered necklaces continue to be a popular look. Multiple chains, often strung with charms and beads, are one version of the style. Just as popular are multi-stranded necklaces made from beads of varying shapes, sizes and colors. The necklaces in this collection are ready-made for layering, but don't hesitate to mix and match your own jewelry. Raid your jewelry box and stack a few necklaces around your neck. Do you like the look? Keep experimenting until you do.
1. Multiple Chain Necklace with Charms and Beads
Five chains in differing styles and lengths make up this necklace. The shortest chain hugs your neck like a choker and the others drape under it, stopping at varying levels. Each chain is set with charms, and some of the charms and pendants include sparkling Swarovski crystals.
2. Multi-Strands of Freshwater Pearls
Freshwater pearls make their way around the multiple, organic looking strands of this contemporary necklace. Pearls are held in place by visible, but delicate knots. A sterling silver clasp secures the back of the necklace.
3. Multi-Gem Drop Necklace
Colored gemstones come together in a big way in this three-stranded necklace. It's a colorful combination of multicolored tourmalines, peridots, freshwater pearls and burgundy garnets. A green tourmaline pendant hangs at the center of the necklace. Sterling silver spacers separate some of the gems and sterling is repeated to drape the pendant. The necklace is held securely in place with a lobster claw clasp. The necklace is 18" long (available in longer and shorter lengths).
