Jewelry at New York Fashion Week, September 2007

You usually see more jewelry by roaming around the tents at Fashion Week than you do watching the runway, but this year there are some good examples in both categories.

Big, round beads are still hanging around lots of celebrity necks, but more delicate stacked necklaces and bracelets are just as plentiful. Vivid colors are popular, and are seen in earthy gems like turquoise and peridot. Vintage pieces remain popular, too.

Jewelry is timeless. Even though trends shift somewhat from year to year, classic pieces will never be out of style.
