Princess Diana
Called Princess Diana's Swan Lake Diamonds, this platinum South Sea pearl and diamond necklace was custom made for the Princess by Garrards, the Royal Family's Crown Jeweler. Princess Diana wore the necklace to her final public appearance, a performance of Swan Lake, shortly before her 1997 death.The necklace and matching earrings (completed after Diana's death) were purchased at auction a few years after her death, and will auctioned again in September, 2010. The jewelry is expected to bring about £500,000 ($775,700).
