Dutch model Lara Stone recently became engaged to British comedian David Walliums, the popular Little Britain actor. Hundreds of blogs and news sites are reporting that Walliums hid the ring in a cheeseburger before proposing. I don't know if that's true, but some of the same Web sites call Stone's engagement ring "vintage Tiffany." My sources say the ring is this Neil Lane design, a platinum setting that holds a 4-carat round diamond, with lots of smaller diamonds that add to the sparkle. The couple began dating in 2009.

I wonder how Lara found the ring- a bite off a hard burger part, a seemingly-alien particle already on the tongue, or perhaps, God forbid, a hard metal object sliding down her throat?
