The Wedding Dress

Catherine Middleton's wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen.

From the Royal Channel:

"Miss Middleton wished for her dress to combine tradition and modernity with the artistic vision that characterizes Alexander McQueen’s work. Miss Middleton worked closely with Sarah Burton in formulating the design of her dress."

Catherine Middleton's Veil

Kate Middleton's veil is constructed of ivory silk tulle and trimmed with flowers hand-embroidered by the Royal School of Needlework.

Catherine Middleton's Tiara & Earrings

Holding the veil is a Cartier halo tiara, lent to the bride by Queen Elizabeth II. The tiara dates from 1936 and was purchased by the (then) Duke of York (who later became King George VI) for the Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother). The Queen Mother gave the tiara to her daughter, Princess Elizabeth, on her 18th birthday.

Catherine Middleton's earrings are a wedding gift from her parents. Stylized oak leaves rest against her ears, and pave set diamonds in the shape of an acorn are framed by the oval ring of diamonds that forms each pendant. The design was inspired by the Middleton family's new coat of arms.
